You need to complete the following forms to join:

1. 2009 Membership Form
2. USFS Membership Form
3. Sports Club Registration (contact club president to get your account added to club sports)
4. Fall 2009 Ice Contract (optional)

To get these documents, print them off the web site or just come to practice to obtain copies from a club officer. All forms must be completed before skaters are allowed to contract for club ice. Contact sager.33@osu.edu with questions.

Club membership is $15.00 for the year. Print out the 2009 Membership Form, sign it, and bring it to practice (or a current officer) with a check paid to the order of: The Ohio State Figure Skating Club.

In order to be a part of The Ohio State Figure Skating Club, all skaters must be registered USFS members in good standing. If you are not currently a member, fill out the USFS Membership Form and turn it into a club officer with a check for $40.00 (or $70.00 for the new 4-year collegiate membership) made payable to the "OSU Figure Skating Club". In order to declare the OSU FSC as your home club, the club must submit your registration information to USFS. Skaters that already have membership through their own club do not have to reregister, but must supply our club with their USFS number as proof of current membership. In addition, incoming club members do not have to change their home club to be OSU if they do not wish to do so. For more information, check out USFSA.org or contact best.99@osu.edu with questions.

All members must contact the club president to be added to the web registration for sport clubs. Each member will then be emailed, from the web registration server, their login and password information. Go to Sports Club Registration to login with Sport Clubs and complete all of the necessary forms. This website includes Insurance Waiver and Standards of Conduct Online Forms (informed consent, insurance verification, medical authorization,and standards of conduct forms).

The ice contract is for those skaters who would like to come to every practice. Contracting ice for the quarter is more cost efficient than paying the walk-on rate per session for members planning to skate every week for the entire quarter. For more information on practice, click here. Please bring your Fall 2009 Ice Contract and money to the first night of practice. If you choose the Ice Contract option, note that you do not have to attend every skating session.

 

For those skaters who would just like to try the club out or are just occasional skaters, we have walk on rates of $14.50. You do not need an ice contract for this.
